About the Author

Dr. Chris Dortch is the founding and Lead Pastor of Grace Point Church in Mooresville, North Carolina, and also serves as the President of Growing University. Since 1993, he has served in vocational ministry as a Student Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Lead Pastor.  He has also served as a seminary professor, teaching New Testament Survey.

Dr. Dortch graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA from Liberty University and earned both his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degrees from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with highest distinction. He is the author of more than thirty books, including expositional studies, theological handbooks, and discipleship resources designed to support biblical literacy and spiritual formation.  He is also the host of the Growing University podcast available on iTunes.
